Sayoko Hirano held her first solo exhibition at Ashiyagaro in 2013. Since then, she has exhibited her work at art fairs both in Japan and abroad. This year, in August 2022, she held her first solo exhibition in nine years. In October, a special exhibition will take place as a collaborative program with the Kyoto International Film and Art Festival.
The art Sayoko Hirano is exhibiting challenges the unknown world that could be described as the starting point of her work, and it creates a space throughout which that energy gushes forth. This art was painted just before she left for Brazil in 2015. Her passionate feelings pour out and engulf the viewer in her world. It is an exhibition that should not be missed.
