KYOTO INTERNATIONAL FILM AND ART FESTIVAL 2022

Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, is a cultural activity that allows people to pursue self improvement through the act of arranging flowers in a vase while appreciating the plant life of nature.
Japan has four beautiful seasons. The relationship between people and the ever-changing appearance of nature has fostered numerous traditional cultural activities, including ikebana. This exhibition will focus on the elements of nature that provide the basis for ikebana culture and the natural environment that surrounds it. Through ikebana creations, we communicate the value of nature and the importance of environmental conservation.
