Notes
Yoshitomi Elementary School, which had been in existence for 141 years since 1873, was closed in 2014 due to declining birthrates.
This film traces the history of the elementary school from before and after WWII, while interviewing local residents who were perplexed by the sudden announcement of the school's closure.
It also conveys the thoughts of those who are trying to repurpose the elementary school.
