- Venue
- Multipurpose room at Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of ArtACCESS
The Creators Factory at this year’s Kyoto International Film and Art Festival will take place under the theme of “re-excavating and rediscovering talent”. It will once again shine a spotlight on all the artists who have submitted their art to the Creators Factory in the past. The purpose of this program is to showcase both the past and present works of art by these artists as well as the artists themselves.
Special program: “Workshop: From Planning to Exhibition”
We are putting on a workshop to help artists think deeply about what kinds of art to display as well as the process of transporting, displaying, and taking down their artwork. This workshop is for thinking about “art and expression” through the processes that occur before and after exhibition and for considering how art created with passion reaches the eyes of viewers.
Instructor: Mugi Nagajima (artist and Kyoto City University of Arts graduate)
Supervisor: Kenta Oka
Who it’s for: Artists who have won or been nominated for Creators Factory awards in the past
*Visitors are free to view the workshop.
