KYOTO INTERNATIONAL FILM AND ART FESTIVAL 2022

Sanada is a psychiatrist working at a clinic in the United States.
One day, while out shopping with his family, he encounters a woman in an elevator.
Her voice echoes in his mind, and Sanada fantasizes about interviewing her at the clinic.
However, her story is more dramatic than Sanada could have ever imagined.
She lost her parents in a house fire when she was a child, was bullied at school, and was cheated on by her husband. After her divorce, she has been spending her days living in debt while working as a prostitute in the US.
As Sanada listens to her talk, he finds himself drawn into her stories, comparing himself to all the men who she has crossed paths with. Her story escalates further and takes an unexpected turn.
